I oversaw a group of three students to create a web application that displays demographic and election data from previous years, and precinct borders of Maryland.

  This application allows the user to determine which out of a set of 30 previously generated districtings to examine and further optimize to create an ideal redistricting that decreases gerrymandering in the state.

  I built Python scripts that parses through census data to gather demographic and election figures, then calculates appropriate statistics to be displayed to the web application using React.
